I'm going to drop any pretense of having made anything elaborate out of my life, to heap a couple sentences of praise on the Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell "Lazy Sunday" short movie/rap on Saturday Night Live last night. Whatever the caucasian equivalent of "mad props" is, I'd like to give it that. Those four minutes made the rest of the night's sketches look like sleepwalking. I wonder if Samberg and his Lonely Island co-horts crafted the bulk of that. Chris Parnell is great, always, of course. And I'm glad he was plugged into it. Remember his equally lively rap/ode to Ashton Kutcher a year or so ago (or was it to Demi Moore? the lines got kinda blurred)?
